Corporate Retreats, Trainings & Workshops
Customized Retreats & Trainings
Customized Retreats & Trainings (from 1/2 day up to 3 days)
Our retreats are great for getting your staff recharged, reconnected and performing.
The way we plan for retreats is to find out more about the outcomes you are looking for. If you could wave a magic wand, after the program was over, what would you want the participants to know, feel, understand, do? Using that information, we create a customized flow of events tailored to fit your specific needs. Then we spell out in detail the recommendations, staying away from “canned” programs so we can best directly target your needs. The flow is created by drawing from one or more of these tracks:
- Teambuilding
- Leadership
- Communication/Conflict management
- Facilitation/Presentation skills
- Social Justice/Diversity
- A combination of all five

Corporate Workshops
Builders, Boomers, Xers, Nexters, and Millenials: Generations at Work
Can Boomers and Nexters ever see eye to eye? What is a Millenial, anyway? If you have generational differences at work, you might have generational conflicts as well. This insightful, interactive, and eye-opening program will help you determine who the generations are in your organization, how generational differences in values and work philosophies influence productivity and morale, and what you can do to capitalize on the strengths of each generation.
Break on Through
What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail? Best described as an experience, not just another program, this session has the potential to change your life. Break through whatever is holding you back, and get ready to make your dreams become reality. Long before the days of being political correct, Cicero (c. 106-43 B.C.) said “Man is his own worst enemy;” it is likely Cicero would now include women, college students, and college professionals to this well-known saying. We can be our “own worst enemy” when we let self-imposed barriers and obstacles stand in the way of achieving our dreams. What stops us from achieving our goals sometimes are matters outside of our control, but, ultimately, we have much more power over whether our dreams become reality than we think.
How Could You Say That?
Speak so they’ll hear you; listen so they’ll talk. The art of criticism, reframing, and active listening are just the beginning of the tools you’ll learn to use.
Respond-ability
Who’s in charge of the situation—you, or the situation? Become the one in charge. Maximize your ability to choose your response and make things happen.
Leadership Dogs/What’s Your Style?
We all approach conflict, and leadership, in our own unique style. Find out YOUR style, and how to work with everyone else’s. Stop barking up the wrong tree, and figure out how to become “Best in Show.”
Your Life Is Now
Too much stress, not enough sleep, and no time to eat right. If this sounds all too familiar, then you and your staff need this workshop. Based on the latest brain-based research, this workshop gives you the tools you need to rewrite your life script and maximize your working potential.
Experiential Learning: at the core of all our programs
All our programs are Experiential from Stende Inspirations on Vimeo.
At the core of any Stende Inspirations program is an experiential element.
This video explains why we do that, and how experiential learning
is a crucial part of retaining information.
The cornerstone of all of our programs is that they are presented in an experiential way. For example, we could talk to you all day about leadership theories but until you actually experience being a leader, and leadership, you won’t get it on the gut level. All the INFORMATION you’ll ever need about how to be an effective leader is in books and the internet. So why doesn’t every student learn about it that way? They don’t have the time or the willingness…and we believe it’s really hard to learn it that way. Experiential learning is fun and effective. And if we talked for 8 hours straight, everyone would fall asleep. I tend to not learn very well when I’m asleep.
I hear, I forget.
I see, I remember.
I do, I understand.
